"Nah, you can't possibly have a special girl back home."
"And what makes you say that? How much do you know about me?"
"Levi, you've been away from your home for five years. What makes you think this special girl of yours would stay faithful to you in that time?"
"Two years, shitty four eyes." Levi growled.
"Oh, right, sorry, forgive me. Why would this mystery girl wait even two years for you?"
"Hanji-"
"No, no wait! I got it! She likes your brooding looks and your ridiculous undercut."
"Hanji-" Levi growled again.
"You know I'm just kidding. You know I'd go out with your gorgeousness if I didn't have a fiancée back home myself." Hanji giggled, leaving Levi to hate her guts even more.
It wasn't a well-kept secret that Levi was a heartless man, who no one could possibly hope to put up with for more than ten minutes. Unless you were Hanji or a select other few. No one believed him when he said that he had a special girl back home.
The troops that had been selected to go home were on a plane back to their country. The one that had been serving for the last couple years of their lives. Their family was all supposed to be waiting for them on the air craft carrier that they were going to land on soon.
"So, my fiancée is going to be there. Is your mystery girl going to be there?" Hanji asked about ten minutes later.
"She will be."
"So I'll get to meet her, and everyone on this plane will know you aren't lying about having a special girl?"
"She said she'd be there. She'd let me know if she couldn't make it." Levi told her.
"I look forward to meeting her."
Everyone on the plane felt it start to circle around, readying to land on the air craft carrier. "Here we go! I'm so excited to see everyone again, and to meet new people." Hanji squealed, bouncing in her seat.
"Calm down. Let the pilots land the plane before you start bouncing off the walls." Levi snapped at her.
"I haven't seen my fiancée in such a long time."
"How do you know he hasn't moved on?"
"Shut up Levi."
Levi and Hanji stood up, gathering their things and walked off the plane. "I don't see my fiancée." Hanji said, looking around. Their fellow soldiers were doing the same, looking around for their families. Levi looked around, trying to find her.
"Levi!"
His heart leaped into his throat at that, and he looked in the direction from where it had been yelled. He turned around.
A person came barreling into his arms. He grabbed her waist just as she launched herself into his arms, throwing her arms around him. Levi lifted her up and spun her around, clutching tightly to her. It was then that his arms were suddenly crushing her tighter to him, molding her chest firmly against his in almost a bear crushing embrace.
He finally set her down to grab her cheeks and kiss her. She kissed him back, throwing her arms once more around his shoulders. When they finally came up for air, they noticed the cheering all around them. Soldiers were cheering their captain on as he kissed an unknown woman.
"Are you really back?" she whispered, pressing her forehead to his.
"I am." Levi replied, "I'm really back Mikasa."
A/N: I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote this one. And before someone starts typing out a comment about how this may be incest, since Mikasa and Levi may be related... Yes, I know. It hasn't been actually proven yet, so I can continue to use this pair until it is actually proven that they are related or that they aren't related. I was inspired to write this when I saw a picture of a father coming home for war and the reaction that his family (wife and daughters) gave him. This story probably won't be long, maybe a couple short chapters. It will really just be them on the air craft carrier. Thanks for reading!
See you later!
