Recognition
A Poem by Buttercup Utonium
age 13 years of age
All I've wanted
is some recognition
in my life
I wish that I could be distinguished
from my two sisters
One is sweet
One is smart
where do I belong
in the city's heart?
Recognition
is so beautiful
for it's my top priority
The only thing I want
is some recognition.
I search for peace
hoping neglect will pass me by
Lost in eternity
along the moors
I search for peace
but it's not for me
A moment's rest
undisturbed by neglect
is all I ask
All I want
is some
Recognition.
