If you love me,

Don't let go

Hold

Hold on

Hold on to me,

'Cause I'm a little unsteady

"No!" Letty found herself being pulled back my two grown men.

She watched as her bound husband was punched once more. His face was bloody and she'd heard at least four of his bones crack. She fought against the men holding her back. Letty spit out a wad of her own blood and saliva. Tears fell down her cheeks, but she wasn't sad.

She was pissed.

A guttural shout escaped her throat and she yanked one hand free. It wasn't her dominant hand, but it would do. She brought her left arm up, spinning suddenly and forcing a left hook into the jaw of one henchman. Simultaneously, she jammed her head against his, all the while, with all of her might, the fierce brunette threw a kick backwards to the groin of the other. She ducked a punch from a third party. Where he'd come from, Letty had no clue. But he was the least of her worries.

"Dom!" She shouted. If he could just hear her. Stay awake until she could get to him.

Letty had never been religious.

But, God, please! Let him hold on!, she prayed, hold on to me.

Mama, come here

Approach, appear

Daddy, I'm alone

'Cause this house

don't feel like home

It had all started when Dom met Cipher. She had information on him. On the entire team, really. Which was how she got her claws in Dom Toretto. The man was all about family. Cipher was a tech goddess and even made Tej nervous. She'd hacked into his system without him knowing. And she shut him down for the thirty seconds it's taken for her to storm into their hideaway, guns a-blazing, all vintage band tee and blonde ponytail.

"You're going to turn your back on family?" Letty questioned.

And then Cipher kissed Letty's husband. That was where she had really fucked up.

"Ride or die." Dom had said afterwards. And Letty knew he was talking to her; his wife. That was when she knew that not everything was what it seemed. He needed help.

But still, the tall blonde proved tough to find. Until she wanted to be found. Leaving Tej little breadcrumbs to find his way into her gingerbread house.

"That was easy." Roman had said.

"Too easy." Letty suggested.

"It's a trap! Get out of there, now!" Tej yelled into their communication sets.

And Rome and Letty escaped with mere seconds left before the entire lair exploded.

But if you love me,

Don't let go

Hold

Hold on

Hold on to me

'Cause I'm a little unsteady

This wasn't like him. This wasn't her Dom. And she'd go to the ends of the earth to find him again. He wasn't dead. Which means she had another reason to live another day.

She had only had one option. There was only one other person who would do everything for Dominic.

"Hello?"

Letty looked at her phone to make sure she'd called the right number.

"Mia?"

"Guess again, wifey."

Cipher.

What was she doing with Brian's phone?

"Where is Brian and Mia?"

"Mia's fine. It's Brian you should be worried about."

"They have nothing to do with this!"

"Lemme guess, if I touch a single hair on your nephews' heads, you'll become Big Bad Letty and blow my entire operation down? Save it. What you should be concerned about is what will happen if I don't get what I want?"

"What do you want?"

"Why don't we let our man handle it for now? I'll be in touch if we need you."

And the line went dead.

Oh, yeah. She had to die.
