Alex's Night Before Christmukkuh
Twas the night before Christmukkuh, and all through the house
Scurried Marissa, Summer Ryan and Seth and even Sandy's spouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
While a menorah burned light and Alex would stare
Stare as she snuggled under the blanketed bed.
Which truly was a couch where she slept instead.
She watched her Marissa as she would wrap
A Special gift she got for the blond while she napped
She thought back on the days when she would bake batter
And then get yelled at "What, you tryna get fatter?!"
Marissa had changed that life in a flash
Making it better, new and without using cash
Green Eyes that shined straight into her soul
Made her smile, Feel warm and glow
She loved how they could just sit and drink beer
Without a car in the world, no nothing to fear.
Her heart sped up when Marissa stood quick
And leaned over Alex to give her a stick
A peck on the lips had quickly became
A makeout session where Seth soon called them by name.
"Now, Marissa and Alex, stop being a vixen,
It's time to get some spiritual mix in."
With that he then gathered them all
Turned on some music to make a small ball.
Marissa and Alex laughed as Seth would try
To show off his moves that would make a baby cry.
And in the moment Marissa knew
And so she turned to Alex and said. "I love you."
Now Alex, surprised, thought it a spoof
So with a laugh she replied, "Are you telling the truth?"
Marissa spun and twirled smiling all around
"I am." She said making Alex's heart pound.
She looked over at Seth who was covered in Soot
Before raising a finger and saying "Stay put."
The brunette, confused and dazed, went and sat back
On the couch where Alex had once relaxed.
When Alex returned the room went wary
A ring in her hand 'Is she asking to marry?'
"Not engage but a promise so I know
That our love will only grow."
A smile and hug and three kisses later
They were cut short by Sandy and the Caterer.
"Sorry to interrupt but I have an empty belly
And so far all this guy has is some cranberry jelly."
"If you want something right you must do it yourself."
Mumbled Kirsten in spite of herself.
Alex turned back to Marissa kissing her head
She slipped on the ring and "I Love you too." was said.
Marissa spoke not a word, but went back to work
She walked to a box grabbed something and turned with a jerk
And smiling at Alex who now had cream on her nose
She kissed it off and revealed a stocking with a rose
And never had Alex smiled so bright
On the stocking was her name spelt just right
And with the rose she gave her girlfriend a kiss
"Thank you so much, I love you so much Riss."
.
.
But I heard him exclaim, 'ere he drove out of sight,"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
