A/N- Just a quick piece of FitzSimmons fluff I wrote for Valentines day (because fictional couples are the only romance in my life). I own nothing.

Fitz was in the lab working on a new version of the DWARFS, which was almost complete.
"Alright everyone!" he shouted getting all the science divisions employees to listen. "I'm giving you tomorrow off because I need to test these new models and you all just get in the way. About half of you already have the day off so it's not that big of a loss. Do not tell Dr. Simmons, I will say you called in sick and as it's Valentines day she will assume you're skiving." There were murmurs of approvement as everyone got back to work and Simmons arrived in the lab with the usual cups of tea for her and Fitz.

The next day the lab was quieter than usual as Fitz flew the DWARFS around and Simmons was analysing an unknown substance found on the scene of the latest Hydra attack. All of the new robots were working perfectly, apart from the one the kept bumping in to Simmons.
"Leo, can you shut down this one? Leo?"
"Sure, Jemma. Can you just tell me which one it is?"
"Fine." She grabbed the DWARF and inspected it for a name or a number, but couldn't find one. What she did find was a fingerprint panel, that when she put her right thumb on it, opened a small hatch. Inside the hatch was a rolled up bit of paper addressed to her. It read in Fitz's scruffy penmanship:

Dear Jemma Simmons
I was wondering if you, how do I put this? Dammit, just turn around
Love Leo

She turned around and behind her was Fitz, down on one knee, holding one of the other DWARFS, this one with a ring in the hollow compartment.
"Jemma, will you make me the happiest man in the universe and maybe, if you want to, marry me?"
"Of course I will. I love you Leo." He stood up and slipped the ring onto her finger and they kissed. They had been dating for around a year and were very private in their relationship, but now they didn't care if the whole of SHIELD knew.
