Dan and Phil were dating for couple of years now. Since it was nearly Christmas again Dan was wandering about in shop for some presents. He's been in the shop for three hours now and he still haven't got anything for Phil. He thought about it a lot for weeks now and he still couldn't think of anything that would show how much Phil meant to him. Right now he was in Top Shop going through some T-shirts and he was starting to be a little bit desperate. He has thrown that black piece of clothing on the nearest pile.

He left the shop and slowly turned left. Music store was his last chance to get something good for his boyfriend.

"Hey Dan!" he heard from a far. "Dan, is that you?"

He turned around to see waving Louise and Zoe. A big smile appeared on his face and he waved at them.

"How's it going ladies?" Dan smirked at them.

Zoe's chuckled. "Pretty good, and you?"

"Well, yeah, i mean ... good...ehm." he muttered and looked on his watch. "Well, I should probably go."

"No, what's going on? What happened?" Louise said looking at him, trying to figure out what was wrong.

"Ehm, nothing, really. It's just that I've been here for three hours and I still have nothing for Phil. And Christmas is next week and ... To be honest I feel like the worst boyfriend ever." He mumbled trying not to collapse in front of his friends.

A wide smile appeared on Zoe's face. "We'll help you." She grabbed Dan's arm and started to dragging him through the crowd of people. "There must be something special."

After one hour of going through every other shop they were exhausted. They left Louise at the Café and kept looking for the perfect gift.

"Hey, Zoe, it's pointless. I don't want to bother you any longer. I will just have to figure out something by myself." Dan said finally.

"No that's okay."

"I mean it. You've helped me but I think the waiting is probably driving Louse crazy and I've already ruined your day." He tilted his head and hugged the short brunette girl in front of him, turned round and started to walk away.

"Daaaaaaaan! I've got it!" Zoe started to shouting. He looked at her pointing in the shop window.

His eyes sparkled and he smiled. Zoe patted his shoulder and looked at him.

"Don't you think it's time? This is great opportunity, don't you think?" she chuckled.

"Zoe, you're brilliant." He hugged her once again. "Absolutely brilliant."

CHRISTMAS DAY

Dan and Phil were sitting in the lounge together and they were just about to finish their drinks.

"I think it's time, Phil."

Phil stood up grabbed a big present he had hidden behind the sofa and pushed it towards Dan, with an enthusiastic smile on his face. Now was Dan's turn. He was so nervous about this.

Dan kneeled before Phil, whom was really confused by it.

This is it, Dan, he told to himself, this is it.

He took the small box from behind his back and opened it.

"Phil Lester, will you marry me?"

Phil burst into happy tears. "Yes. Yes I will. Of course I will."

Dan Stood up and passionately kissed his boyfriend.
