Frodo's Little Sister
A/N: I KNOW that Frodo's parents, Primula and Drogo Baggins, died before they could have another child! This is purely hypothetical...enjoy :)
When Frodo's little sister heard
Of his selfless quest to come,
She didn't have one kind word
(She was busy smacking gum.)
Instead she looked her brother
In the face with clear blue eyes,
"Do you judge another
for their age, and width, and size?"
"I want to go and see myself,
Erm..whatever there is to see...
Maybe I can see an elf,
And even a talking tree?"
Then she opened another pack
Of her trusty bubble gum,
Sissy knew that she had a knack
'Twas uncanny, and then some.
Frodo opened his mouth to speak,
Perhaps a polite decline,
But his sister, playing dumb and meek,
Her eyes began to shine.
"I've always wanted to see the orcs!
And perhaps a few Balrogs and a troll,
Eat lembas with cheap plastic sporks,
And talk to Gollum, that slimy mole!"
"Thank you! Thank you! Thanks so much!"
She said, though Frodo did not talk,
"I'd better bring some gum and such,
And the necessities, like chalk."
Frodo knew that it was wrong,
But his conscience did not sag,
When he at last did shout "So long!"
He had packed her in his bag.
