"Oh, please, Syaoran, please?" Sakura looked at the grumpy boy next to her, covered in oh so many blankets.
"No." One simple word was all it took to disappoint the green-eyed girl. She sat her head down and leaned back to the sofa.
"But Syaoran..." she held onto his arm although it was hard to tell, by the blankets covering his body if it was really his arm. "...the snow is soo beautiful and white and and..." Sakura stopped, running out of descriptive words.
"It's cold outside," Syaoran's grumpy voice interrupted her thinking.
"Soo? We can wear scarves and hats and gloves so we could be warm! Please Syaoran?"
"No," His eyes glued to the television. Sakura looked at him for a brief second and then stared back at her hands.
"Humph! I'll just go by myself!" Sakura said, getting up. But Syaoran pulled her back down.
"You can't go out!" he looked at her.
"And why not?" Sakura argued back.
"You'll catch a cold"
"No I won't! I'll wear the pink jacket Touya brought me!"
"Yes you'll. That jacket is useless! Stay inside, it's warm!" Syaoran pulled her close to him.
"But I want to play in the snow! Why won't you go play outside with me, Syaoran?" Sakura said in a tiny little voice.
Syaoran answered back, "because it's cold outside,"
"you don't like the cold, Syaoran?" she questioned him.
"No," One simple answer was all it took for silence to take over. Five minutes. It was five minutes that they sat in total silence. But hey, who's counting? Definitely Syaoran. Every few seconds, his gaze would wander to her and every time, it was the same position as before. Head down, fingers laced. Syaoran sighed, knowing what he must do to get Sakura to talk to him again. He untangled his hand from all the blankets that was covering him and took Sakura's hand. Her head shot up from surprised.
"Let's go outside,"
To do anything just to let someone he loves be happy, even if it means overcoming his deepest fear, is worth it. In the end, he loves her that much.
Just a little thought that just propped up in my mind. Good, Bad, Okay, Diappointed? You decide.
