a/n: So, here's a little oneshot for you guys! And in case you were wondering: Finn is alone in the choir room to think, there is no one else. I hope you enjoy it, and please leave a review if you do (or have some feedback!). I'm not English, so I'm sorry if it is bad!

"Finn! Finn!" Rachel stormed into the choir room. "Where were you?! We were supposed to practice our grand duet for Regionals, remember?! I have been warming up my voice for 20 minutes now, because you didn't show up! Don't you know what a waste of my voice that is?! I may lose my voice at Regionals during one of my amazingly perfect belts and then we would lose all because you couldn't just take 20 minutes of your time to show up! This is the third and last time I'll wait for you and waste my talent, Finn Hudson! I can't waste my time on you anymore, if we want to win Regionals we don't have time for this." Finn stared in the distance. Rachel waited for an answer, which never came. "Finn, were you even listening to me?!" she waved her hands in front of his face. "I'm sorry Rachel, that I didn't listen to you nervous breakdown, but I have more important things on my mind right now." "What could be more important than me and my talent?!" Finn sighed. "Well, at this moment, it's my mom. She was diagnosed with cancer this Saturday." Finn's voice cracked a little when he said it. Rachel's mouth dropped. "Oh my god, Finn, I'm so sorry! I didn't know! Oh my god, what have I done, I'm so, so, so sorry! I totally understand if you never want to see me again!" "It's okay Rachel, you didn't know." "No, it's not! I was way out of line! I should've seen it on your face right away." Rachel clasped her head. "Really, it's okay. I should've told you immediately. Please don't feel bad." He stood up and grabbed her shoulders with his strong hands. "Look at me," he said. Rachel sighed and looked into his deep brown eyes. "Relax, okay? You didn't know. And now you know, so it won't happen again. And even if it would, I'd still love you. I just want you to be there for me when I need it. And when you need me, I'll do the same." "I'll be there for you, no matter what," she said determined. "Then I guess I'll be okay," he chuckled. Then he embraced her in a tight hug which ended in a passionate kiss. At the end, Rachel whispered "I love you, and I always will." "I love you too, no matter what," he whispered back.
