Pre-Cursor of Elements

A bright scarlet cardinal soared past an ornate window, landing in a cherry tree at the peak of its blossoms. It chirped, waking the young woman. She opened the window, smiling. "Good morning, Cardinal."

She opened the curtains, letting in the morning sunshine. "It's so beautiful outside today!"

This is Grace Moneitzer, fiancée to Masamoto, master of creation and original master of Spinjitzu. She was of fair face, pale as the sand on the coastlines. Her hair was a chestnut brown, having red highlights that shone in almost every light. Her eyes were a deep indigo that you could get lost in.

And that's what happened to Masamoto. One glance and he was entranced. He asked her to marry him, and the young woman accepted. Three months afterwards is where we start our story.

"Grace?"

Grace spun around to face her partner, smiling. "Good morning, Masamoto."

Masamoto took her in his arms, placing a kiss on her forehead.

The two lovers had quite a few friends, each having different elemental abilities. They were the guardians of the elements, if anything ever happened to the main protector, which was Masamoto. Grace was fortunate; she too possessed many abilities, but never shared them with anyone.

There came a time where said elemental guardians and the two lovers were to begin a mission. They gathered their supplies and met at the base of the mountain the monastery Masamoto and Grace shared.

"C'mon, Grace! What are you waiting for?! An invitation?!"

Grace grabbed her bag, following her friends down the hallway. "I'm coming, I just have to grab something…"

She grabbed her sewing basket, a small swatch of baby blue fleece sticking out.

Mizu, the master of water, frowned. "What's that for?"

Grace looked down, smiling. "I'm making a baby blanket… When Masamoto and I finally tie the knot, we want to have kids."

Masamoto overheard that, frowning. "When did I say that?"

Grace looked at her fiancée. "You said you wanted to pass your powers down so that evil will never succeed!"

Masamoto nodded. "That's why they're all here. To pass down the genes."

Grace's soft pink lips curved into a frown. "But, Moto…"

Masamoto glared at her. "But nothing. I refuse to give you a child."

Raitoningu, the master of lightning, clucked her tongue. "Masamoto… you should never say that to your wife!"

Masamoto looked back at Grace, the young woman with tears pooling in her dark blue eyes. He cursed under his breath. "Alright. Grace. I'm sorry."

Grace pouted. "You don't mean that."

Masamoto took her in his arms, carrying her outside bridal-style. "C'mon, Grace… you know I love you more than the balance itself…"

Grace looked at him. "Really?"

"Yes."

Dangerous words…

The balance has been tipped for the very first time…

Wow. Cheese-o-rama. Crap.

The only reason this is rated T and not K+ is because there will be mention of…something… and there may be slight cussing. Nothing you guys can't handle, though, right?

HECK YEAH!

So, I may update this soon, but if you know me, HA HA, nope.

Is it wrong that I think of the master of Spinjitzu as a stuck up jerk? Yeah… What is wrong with me? IDK

This part is short. These chapters will be super short. Because I am a lazy pig. Oh well.

Grace though… she's soft for now, but when she's preggo with Garmy… New definition of 'mood swings'.

More to come! :D
