I once heard Long Shadow say that everybody who came to Fangtasia wanted to die, in one way or another.

The truth is, he was right. In fact, anyone who associates with a vampire long term on an intimate basis does.

Having sex with a vampire is like having sex in an open grave, just waiting for it to slam shut over you. I sit in my bar and look out at all the silly humans throwing themselves at death's doorstep. They think it's all in fun, but they don't see the proverbial ax hovering over their heads. It's only a matter of time.
