Lights are flashing and everyone is dancing to the loud music inside Bronze (the only club where teenagers can hangout in Sunnydale also known as Sunnyhell). Inside the club are Buffy, Willow, and Xander. They leave their table and head towards the exit. When they reach the door they hear a loud crash near the trashcans and dumpster. Buffy sees a dark figure that resembles a body of a huge dog. When the figure comes into the light Buffy and her friends see a tall athletic girl dressed in all black.
"Uh…hey" the girl said, scratching the back of her neck.
"Hi" said Buffy and her friends.
After the awkward silence Buffy voices the thought that everyone else is thinking.
"So what happen to the huge dog?" her friends nodding their heads in agreement
"Well, you see—"before the girl could finish her sentence she was tackled to the ground by a man with what Buffy, Willow, and Xander thought was a disfigured face. The girl on the floor then punches the man in the face and flips him over her head into the dumpster. She then pulls out a sharp wooden object and stabs the man in the heart. The man then turns into a pile of ashes.
"By the way, my name is Faith" said the girl with a British accent.
A few seconds later brunette girl who looks exactly like Faith, but shorter also wearing all black, comes running into the alley.
"Did you catch the va—" Then pauses when she sees Buffy, Willow, and Xander.
"The…uh…vacuum, yeah the vacuum."
"I think we might have to tell them mate." Faith said "Well I guess you'd like to know what happened to the man and as you put it, the huge dog?"
"That would be nice answered Willow speaking for the first time throughout the whole encounter.
"Okay, but first you have to promise me that you won't run away and call the police when we tell you" said the shorter brunette.
"I doubt we would runaway after seeing all the weird things we did last night." said Xander.
"Oh! Before we start I guess I should introduce you to Kennedy, my sister" Faith said pointing to the shorter brunette.
"Alright, now that we got that all cleared up I guess we should tell you about the vampires and Daywalkers." Faith said about to begin her and Kennedy's journey to Sunnydale.
"Um, do you mind taking this to the coffee shop; my legs are tired from running all night." Kennedy said trying to suppress a yawn. The group made their way out of the alley and on to the street and headed towards the coffee shop. They all enter and sit down at the table. A waitress comes to take their order.
"So, what will it be?" the waitress asked.
"I'll take a cup of coffee: cream and three sugars." "Maybe your number to." answered Kennedy. Everyone turns and looks at Kennedy.
"Alright is everyone done flirting?" Faith asked directing her question to Kennedy. The rest of the group nods their heads.
"I'll start with what Daywalkers are." Faith starts. "Daywalkers are vampires that are able to walk in sunlight and are immune to holy water and crosses."
"Now there are Daywalkers who seem to think they are above our people Urathas." Kennedy stated. "We are at war with them as of now and we came here to buy us some time before they start attacking us even more."
"Wait you guys still didn't tell us what are Urathas." said Willow.
"Right, well we are sort of like werewolves but we can transform at our own will." Faith answered.
"When we're in our human form we are extremely stronger than any human." Kennedy said.
"That would explain Faith throwing the guy over heard without breaking a sweat." Xander said. The group left after Kennedy finished her coffee and got her number from the waitress. The two sisters walked Buffy, Willow, and Xander to their houses occasionally Faith flirting with Buffy.
