(A/N: I know nothing about coffee, so excuse me if anything is wrong.)

Ah, this was the life. Making cup after cup of coffee was relaxing, and it didn't hurt that he was making $12.50 an hour. Monsters have been on the surface for about 8 years now, and everything was going smoothly. Sure, some people wanted to keep the monsters out, but they soon learned to accept monster kind as a whole. Yes, everything was perfect; a 'happy ending', as Frisk would call it.

But there was just one person missing.

If only their plan had worked. If only those humans hadn't attacked him. If only he had done something, she would still be here.

Chara would still be here.

He shook off these feelings. That was the past, and he had to live in the present.

"Can I take whoever's next?", he said to no one in particular. Then, a girl about his height wearing a green hoodie walked up to the counter.

"I'll take a Grande with a triple shot of chocolate please, she said.

"Name?" He asked her, as to identify her order.

"Chara."

Recognition flashed across his face. Could it really be her? A sharp voice broke his thoughts: "DREEMUR! GET BACK TO WORK!" his boss yelled.

"R-right away, Mr. Stawicki."

~2 Minutes Later~

He rang up her order at the counter. "That will be $4.15, ma'am." She gave him a $5 bill and walked off.

"Ma'am, you forgot your change," he called out.

She walked back to the counter. "I-I'm sorry," she said. She took her hood off her face for the first time.

He gasped. That auburn hair, the yellow and green striped sweater, and last but not least-

Those eyes. Those stunning, blood-red eyes.

It was her!

"C-Chara?" He said.

"Azzy?" she responded.

They embraced in a tight hug. "Azzy, we need to go!"

"Go where?" He responded. "There's no time to explain! Cmon!" So he went with her (getting fired in the process), and left into whatever tomorrow held for them.
