So no matter how dreary the title sounds, this quite funny! Enjoy!
Will had been deafening silent for the last few days. He practiced and did every Halt asked of him and even more. But it made Halt suspicious that something was wrong when Will was this quiet. He knew the boy was nervous he wouldn't pass his final test and fail as his apprentice. But to Halt, no matter what Will did, he would never fail him. The real question was... What was bothering Will?
Strangely enough, it was question that Will had. Normally he would just ask it and have eyes rolled at him, but it would be answered. But this question was one hew wasn't sure how to ask.
Halt kept a careful eye on the boy, fearing the worst. He didn't believe Will would ever get so nervous he would kill himself, but you always suspected the worst. The next thing he knew, Will had a scared smile on his face. Halt now was just plain out suspicious.
"Halt..." Will stuttered, scared.
Halt looked up, surprised that Will was talking. "Yes?"
Will hesitated and suddenly blurted, "Have you ever thought about what you're gonna do when death comes knocking?"
They stared at each other for a good ten minutes. Suddenly Halt burst out laughing. He laughed so hard, that he fell out of the chair he was sitting in and started crying. Will wasn't sure whether to laugh also, or run away screaming at the site of Halt.
"You're joking! Of all the questions in the world to ask, you ask that one!? You've been hanging out with Gilan again, haven't you?"
Will's frown slowly turned into a grin. The next thing you knew, he was laughing too! "No!" he said, gasping for breath. "It was a dare I got."
The two looked at each other and stated laughing again. It was most likely a good thing they didn't see Gilan and Crowley outside the window of the cabin. You know why? Cause they were also laughing their heads off.
So this was going to be depressing, but it didn't turn out that way. Why, you ask? Because I think I write much depressing stuff and need to lighten up a bit! Please review!
