This one didn't fit any of the birthday wishes, sorry! Sam considers his entrapment and wishes for some daytime TV…Desperate times indeed.
Sam had known a lot about Hell, before.
Too much really, from what Dean had said - and from what he hadn't.
So he had expected/feared a lot of things, before.
Expected pain, torture, to be racked with guilt, blame and agony.
What he hadn't expected was boredom.
Of course, strictly speaking, this wasn't Hell.
Lucifer's cage looked like Zachariah's Green Room, all gleaming white walls, rococo furniture and ridiculous gold baroque mirrors – that's when Luci and Mike weren't at it hammer and tongs, smashing it all to smithereens.
Really, Sam thought, helplessly bitch-facing; where was Oprah when you needed her?
