"You think he's awake?" a voice asked.

"I don't know, I'm no Apollo," another replied.

"I guess we should maybe . . . I don't know . . . Splash water in his face?" The first one said.

"No, no. We should prank him while he's sleeping," the second said matter-of-factly.

"C'mon, we don't even know him, Connor. Wouldn't that be mean?"

"Of course not, we'll say sorry when he wakes up, Travis."

Duncan's eyes slowly opened.

"Hey! Look Travis! He's awake!" The boy named Connor shouted.

"Not so loud, he might be traumatized," the other boy, named Travis, said.

Duncan felt his face frown.

"No, I don't think so. He just fainted." Said Connor. "Hey man, you awake?"

Duncan sat up, rubbing his head in pain. Personally, he had woken up in some strange places, but this place was the strangest. It wasn't exactly the décor, it was fine, a tad old-fashioned at best. It was just the feeling that was in the air, and if you asked him, he would say it was. Riveting as if the air itself had been sprinkled with fairy dust or something like that. Duncan's eyes focused onto Travis and Connor.

"Gentlemen?" He asked, slightly annoyed that they were watching him as he slept.

"Oh! Uh, sorry man, I'm Connor and the goofy looking one there is my brother, Travis," said Connor.

"Right," Duncan frowned. "Where am I?

"Err…He fainted the last time someone told him he was in a summer camp for Demigods, Travis…Maybe you shouldn't tell him," Connor whispered to his brother.

"Nonsense," Said Travis. "You're at camp half-blood! The safe-haven for Demigods everywhere!"

"…I beg your pardon?" Duncan asked.

"You heard me, the safe haven for demi-"

"No, I heard you…I'm just having a hard time believing you." Duncan ran a hand through his platinum blonde hair. Suddenly, Jeremy walked into the room.

"Oh, cheer up, kid, we still have to give you the tour!" He said happily.

"Oh…Dandy."

Linebreak Duncan's point of view.

I plopped down on my bed at the Hermes cabin. It's been about a week since I came here, no one has 'claimed' me yet. Like I'm the son of some crackpot God or Goddess from some mountain in Greece. That, and I'm having trouble believing all this…Seriously, Gods? Really, how stupid can you get? The pain in my back keeps getting worse. Maybe I'm complaining too much…After all, there is this…Girl…
