E/O challenge: Twist. Uh, kinda messed up on the last one. Didn't see the word prompt in the email, lol, just the scenario prompt. My apologies. I followed the rules this time :

AN: So sorry, I totally missed the word prompt and thought it was just the scenario! My apologies. Don't like this one as much as the other, but at least this one followed the rules, lol.

Sam sighed as he watched his stubborn brother hobble along beside him. Dean's ankle was definitely twisted, if not worse. Would the idiot let him help? No, of course not.

He wanted to help. The mass of bruises, cuts and fractured bones were technically his fault. If Dean hadn't stepped in the way...

"Stop it."

"But-"

"Listen, Sam, once and for all. Nothing comes between us, do you hear me? Not monsters, angels or devils."

Damn if his brother's growl wasn't almost as bad as his bite.
