We all know this story. Once upon a time a stork was bringing two babies to their new home. The stork that was supposed to take them however caught an unsuspecting cold so one stork shall take the job for him.
"...and that should be the *sniff* basics. Are you real sure you can handle this Jerry?"
"Of course bird boss, I got dis..." Jerry replied to his boss.
"Where are they then?"
"Where are who?"
"The babies that you need to be delivering..."
"Over there near that cloud"
"uh..."
"what is it?"
Both of them look over to the cloud, both of the kids were gone.
" ...oops..."
"you're fired Jerry"
"well shit...and on my first day too..."

As one may figure out both of these kids fell from the cloud they sat on and plummeted into the ocean below. However, flying by was someone known as Kamek the magic koopa. He saw the two boys falling and he would have saved them both from landing in the ocean but he could only grab one, this one happened to be a small boy wearing a red hat. Kamek looked below him to see if he could find the other but he lost sight of him; he was no where to be seen.
"Oh hope that one is okay... At least you are safe baby number one..." Kamel said to himself. Kamek did not see any name on the infant telling of his name so for now he would call him as the letter on his red hat; M.
"Well M, it seems you will be staying with me for awhile. I'm sure prince Bowser will be most please to have someone new to play with. Come on, lets get you something to eat, I'm sure you must be hungry."
Kamek placed the baby in his lap, M didnt cry or squirm which made things much easy for Kamek. Kamek steadied his broom and started to fly off. He looked down once more at the ocean just incase he saw the other baby but sadly he did not. Kamek sighed sorrowfully and flew off to prince Bowser's castle.

A white handkerchief washed onto the shore of Yoshi's island. It was soaked but what was really important was that the small infant that laid inside was okay; a little shaken yes but okay. One of the Yoshi's from the island saw the infant but this was not good. Most Yoshis live in the center of the island but yoshis that are banished from certain crimes would live on the outskirts of the island. This blood red yoshi happened to have multi personality distorter so this did not look good for the baby boy.

red yoshi (pers 1): Oh it's a BABY!

red yoshi (pers 2): oh great... i love dealin with fuckin animals...

red yoshi (pers 3): I WANNA EAT HIM!

red yoshi (pers 1): I'M GONNA FEED HIM AND LOVE HIM AND CARE FOR HIM AND-

red yoshi (pers 3): EAT HIM AFTER COOKING HIM OVER A WARM TOASTY FIRE!

red yoshi (pers 1): SHUT UP D!

D: AT LEAST ONE BITE R!

R: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! HE'S MY BABY... PET... THING AND IM GONNA LOVE HIM FOREVER AND EVER!

red yoshi (pers 2): you don't even know where this THING has even been...

R: BUT E I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HIM!

E: Well have fun then 'cuz I ain't helpin ya with it.

The red yoshi picked up the baby's hat and looked at it confused.

R: yo E what is this?

E: it's a hat dipshit.

D: CAN I EAT IT?

E: no D... you cannot eat it... I SWEAR TO GRAMBI IF WE WEREN'T THE SAME PERSON I WOULD SLAP BOTH OF YOU ACROSS YOUR FACES!

R: also what is this little symbol in the middle of his hat?

E: It's the letter L

R: is that this little cutie's name?

D:ACTUALLY HIS NAME IS LUNCH! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHHEHEHEHE

R: NO IT'S NOT! HIS NAME IS BABY L AND HE IS CUTE AND ADORABLE! HE'S GONNA LIVE WITH US AND HE'S GONNA HAVE THE BESTEST LIFE EVER!

E: Just... shut up and bring the kid home...

R: OKAY!

R.E.D picked up the infant, put the hat back on his head and placed L on their back.

R: you can ride on our back baby L. I promise you are gonna be so happy livin with us!
