LT Ripley and Private Goodman moved across the barren deserted landscape in front of them. The two were an odd pair completely the opposite in every way. Goodman was old, tall and, thin whereas Ripley was the opposite young, short and large. Unlike Ripley Goodman had memory of his life before the Judgement day he served in the marines for a number of years and retired to Gytra forest in Mexico where he meet a young John Connor. Consequently when Judgement day occurred he was one of the first to join John's army. As a result Goodman never forgot his training and was still in peak fitness at 74. Ripley was a teenager when Judgement day occurred therefore her memories were limited.

The sun was low in the sky making the heat unbearable as they moved. In their hands were two large guns searching for any sign of danger. They reached the mountain in front of them and started to climb. Beyond the mountain there was a large valley. The valley was filled with soldiers, tents and armoury. Thousands of soldiers stood in line along side thousands of ships capable of space travel. A huge tent was pitched in the middle of the valley with a large sign reading operation tents resting on top of it. Lt Ripley and Private Goodman made their way down the steep mountain and towards the large tent. Two soldiers stood near the entrance of the camp guarding the camp with their riffles at the ready.

Lt Ripley and Private Goodman didn't know why they were here apart from the broadcast they received at the bunker. The broadcast keep playing in a loop and was on all major frequencies around the world.

The message was grainy and unstable like it was being recorded under fire but the voice was unmistakable it was John Connor's. So here they were responding to the message with the majority of their forces arriving an hour later. Bunker B62 had responded for the battle to win the war once and for all.
