The blonde-haired school girl let out a deep sigh as she idly mixed her cocktail drink that flashed in red and blue lights coming from the lasers that shot across the noisy hall.

Loud music blasted through the speakers and slowly Terra began to regret her decision of letting herself be dragged into the danceclub by her two friends.

Home sounded not so boring anymore.

"Come here often?"

Terra thought she heard someone speak and turned around.

An apparently drunk, young man with dark hair smirked at her.

"Excuse me?" she asked, half of the reason because she couldn't hear him over the loud music.

"What's a hot, little chick doing here alone? How about I keep you company?" he sneered before he reached out his hand, laying it on her lap.

Terra flinched in disgust and stood up. "I-I'm here with someone," she muttered and turned to leave and managed to escape his eager fingers that tried to get a grip on her skirt - or more precisely at what was beneath it.

Terra walked through the dancing crowd, deciding she'd just go home.

"What's the hurry? Can't wait to get home? Me neither, cutie," came the husky voice from her pursuer and Terra knew she couldn't risk revealing to that scumbag where she lived.

"S-sorry," she muttered as she hurried right past a dancing couple.

What to do now? She couldn't even see Amber and Dionne anywhere.

Her eyes darted faster and faster for a solution as the man's hands were dangerously close to her skirt again.

And then she saw someone - it was a certain green-skinned teen that was dancing to the fast-paced beat that vibrated off the walls.

And then she had an idea.

She hurried to her former friend as another song started - this time a slow song. "Beast Boy! Don't tell me you started without me?" she smiled at him before she promptly wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder.

From the corner of her eyes, she saw the man muttering curses under his breath before he turned away.

She let out a sigh of relief before she leaned a little closer to him, gently swaying from side to side and slowly, she began to think that dancing was not such a bad idea.

"Can I have this dance?" she whispered with a smile.
