A/N: Another one of my denial fics, (I'm still not over it).

Some days, she can hear the TARDIS, some days she can't. Rose Tyler knows her imagination is playing tricks on her, and wishes, for five minutes, she could see him again. It's impossible of course; only fairy tales allow such a thing to happen. It's not that she hasn't moved on and gotten over it, it's just sometimes she wishes she could speak to him, ask his advice, find out if he loves her. In fairy tales that happens all the time, she would know, she reads them to her younger sister Sophie every night. Some nights though, she tells her sister the story of a girl who was living an average life was saved by an alien, travelled with him, fell in love, and didn't get her happy ending. Sophie doesn't like this story, the girl in it is a princess in her mind, and all princesses should get their prince and live happily ever after. One day she'll tell her though, tell her the full story, tell her of the ending she has been given, and that it's not all bad. This is her fairy tale and her ending. It's not Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, but it's hers, and she accepts that. Fate has handed her this life, this story. Not all fairytales have happy endings.

But maybe fate hasn't written the epilogue yet.

There, drabble, but please review, I hope you liked it.
