"Koromon…?" I asked, totally bewildered as the pink head with two long ears and two oversized eyes bounced out of my locker.
"HI!" it said. "I'm… hey cool, you already know my name!.'
"Yeah… uh…" I looked around. "Look, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but… you need to quiet down and stay here until the end of the school day, in which case you'll hide in my coat, it'll be hot, but you'll be unnoticed." I whispered.
"But, I won't make any noise, I promise." Koromon whined.
"I need you to do as you are told for now, got it." I stated firmly. "I'll see you in a bit.
"Ok." Koromon sighed. Great, how in the world am I going to explain this? I asked myself as I closed my locker after Koromon hopped back into it. I walked to the chemistry classroom and mentally prepared myself for an over-rambunctious, to hyper active for her own good teacher. I entered the classroom and sat in my seat, thankfully right by the door.
"Good morning, Damien." The teacher, Mrs. Kochevar half screamed at me.
Attempting to keep my bodily fluids where they belong, I forced myself rigid. "Morning." I mumbled, relaxing. I unzipped my backpack and pulled my binder out of it. While I was opening my binder, I remembered that I had two applications to turn in. I pulled them out of the front of the first divider pouch, stood and asked Mrs. Kochevar if I could go to the counseling center and turn in the applications.
"Sure, but hurry back." She responded. I left the classroom and speed-walked to the counseling center. Once there I walked into Mrs. Fly's office and asked her what I should do with the laptop application I received the day before at the UCCS Extended Studies Spring Session Parent Night as I handed her the UCCS Extended Studies Spring Session application. Once there I walked into Mrs. Fly's office and asked her what I should do with the laptop application I received the day before at the UCCS Extended Studies Spring Session Parent Night as I handed her the UCCS Extended Studies Spring Session application.
"Take it to the library and give it to the librarian." She said.
"Ok," I said as I turned around and left her office. I sped over to the library and showed the librarian the laptop application and said "Mrs. Fly said to bring this here."
"Mrs. Fly needs to sign this right here." The librarian said, pointing to a blank line after looking over the application. I sighed and took the application as she handed it back to me.
"OK." I turned and walked out of the library heading back to the counseling center. I then went to Mrs. Fly's office, again.
"Hey, Damien,"
"Hey, um, the librarian said that the bottom line needed to be signed by you." I said, handing her the application. She signed the line and gave it back to me. "Thanks," I said, turning around and returning to the library.
"It's signed." I said entering the library and approaching the desk. I set the application on the desk.
