Just a short song fic showing the other ending if Fiona went through her decision of destroying zoid eve.
"Zeke it's time I must." Fiona declared.
Zeke growled in a response of defeat.
"I know Zeke but it's the only way." cried Fiona.
"Van, I'm sorry this is goodbye." This horrible thought clouded Fiona's mind.
Zeke approached Fiona opening his silver plates on his chest, coming out were tubes that wrapped around the zoidian's body where she was lifted off the ground ready to be sacrificed. This meaning the mechanical creatures called zoids and the last of the ancient zoidian race would be destroyed. Just as the deed was to be done a sort of yelling in plea came in Fiona's direction.
"Fiona don't."
The voice was none other than Lieutenant Van Flyheight.
"Van!" Fiona smiled also letting a tear escape.
"Fiona please you can't we have come this far." Pleaded Van.
"Van I must please try to understand there is no other way." Fiona cried.
"Please forgive me Van where ever I may go you will always be a part of me."
This was Fiona's last thought as she closed her eyes and took her last breath.

Two Weeks Later
Search parties had been out day and night to find any sign of Fiona and Zeke. It appeared that the Republic and the Empire had no luck. Both sides kept on the search for about five months till completely throwing the towel.

A memorial was held in Fiona's memory by the idea of Van. An hour past Van still stood in front of the memorial letting his tears fall.
"I'm sorry Fiona I couldn't be there for you."
"Why couldn't it have been me." Van yelled.
Some of Fiona's last words raced through his mind.
"Van I must please try to understand there is no other way."
"There was another way there had to be." Van yelled.
"Don't worry Fiona I won't stop searching until you and Zeke are found."
"I just hope where ever you are you are alright." Van thought.
Before leaving the memorial Van placed his proof of the guardian force the medallion which he always wore on the site.
"Be safe." Van frowned as a few more tears of grief escaped.
