I'd like to thank everybody who read my valentines chocolate story, and apologise for the lack of stories. High school is harder then I thought, and our music teaher is such a FD (inside joke, don't bother to try and understand).
Everybody knows Toph Bei Fong. As conceited as it sounds, it's true. Rough-and-tough blind earth bending master, first ever matal bender, and the avatars soon-to-be wife.
So maybe that's the reason half the world was at her wedding procession. Complete strangers, and about two dozen broken hearted floozies, weeping in the back of the room. Katara just had to throw her a public wedding, didn't she?
"I hate you, Katara."
Those were the first words she had spoken in an hour. She'd been pampered, primped, pained and painted, all for supposedly the best day of her life.
"You should be happy Toph" Katara said. "This is supposed to be the best day of your life!"
"And I definitly feel like crying."
Katara frowned at her difficult friend. Servants rushed around them in a frenzy, trying to get her long ebony hair done, her face painted just right, and some were tending to the others who had attempted to approach her feet.
No one could deny that Toph looked beautiful. Her long ebony hair had been curled, her face powdered with lips painted bright red. Her dress was long and white, loosely sweeping along the floor to cover her bare, dirty feet. The only thing tainting her beauty was her annoyed scowl, directed directly at Katara.
"Five minutes!" Shouted a man. The servants left in a hurry, along with Katara, to prepare the hall and get the wedding precession started. Toph just sat in a wooden chair, still scowling, her arms crossed over her chest.
She turned her head and smiled as she felt familiar light footsteps land outside her window.
"Having fun, Twinkle Toes?"
Aang pulled at his too tight bow. "I didn't think letting Katara organise out wedding would be such a bad idea."
There was a moment of silence.
"Ready to go?"
"I'm right behind you."
Toph jumped out of her window, landing right in Aangs arms. He put her down, keeping hold of her hand, and tugged her toward the barn where Appa was currently housed. Today was for them, and them only.
"The avatar and Miss Bei Fong are missing!"
The hysterical servant burst into the room, screaming the news at the top of her lungs.
"Missing?!" Exclaimed Katara. "How could they be missing? It's their wedding day! Do you think something happened to them?"
Sokka stood where he was, Suki in his arms, and smiled, shaking his head. "I thought you knew your two best friends by now" he said. "Of course they're going to bail on their own completely public and overcrowded wedding."
Katara frowned, mentally scolding herself. She should've known Toph and Aang better than that! Here they were, brides maids, flower girls and priests all set up, and they were missing the bride and groom.
She smiled, before yelling out; "Everybody to the reception party!"
Hehe, they bailed on their wedding to go galavanting around! Ah, sitting on a flying bison in a flowing white wedding gown.
