Frodo put on a pot of herbal tea on the fire.He struck a match as he began to sing.
The road goes ever on and on,
down from the door were it begain.
Now far ahead the road is gone,
and I must follow it if I can.
At that moment he trailed of to a hum.He awaited a good and long friend.Sooner or later a loud knock would come at the door,and Frodo would run with the pitter-pattering of his little hobbit feet trailing off behind him to answer it.He would open his green,circuler door and invite him in.They would go off to sit in the kicthen and have a chatt over a series of pastries,such as tea cakes,beer breads,and homemade weat cookies.Then they would go out and watch the sunset,puffing thier pipes.But,Frodo wondered what his old friend had to Tell him.
"...I have very inportent news to tell you..."said the letter.Indeed the letter was strange,but what was even stranger was how it was delivered.Not by any hobbit did he recieve it from,but by a big folk as he called him.The mans face remained unseen,but his english was broken and it seemed he spoke another launguage most of the time.
"Letter for Frodo." the charector wisprered,as Fodo went out to aswer the door.He remembered the figure being on a horse.
"For me?' said Frodo taking the letter from the gloved hand."But who..."
"To you,the Grey pilgrahm.Good luck.Mae govmnen!"and with that the hooded man clicked his toung,and he and his horse were gone.Frodo stood outside and watch the figur disapear around the corner before waliking back inside.
Just then Frodo snapped out of thought as a loud knock came at the door.He hurried to aswer it.He opened the door and indeed there stood his old friend.
"Gandalf!"said Frodo as Gandalf ducked as he came inside the Hobbit-hole.
"Yes,yes!Good to see you my dear Frodo!You certinly havn't aged a day!"answered Gandalf politly.
"Five years dose nothing to a hobbit!Now come Gandalf!Come into my kicthen!The taes on."with that the hobbit took the wizards coat and staff hung it up then hurried to the kicthen,Gandalf close behind.
"This remindes me of the times me and Bilbo would have a chatt,"said Gandalf lifting the top of the tea pot so Frodo could poor in the tea from the kettle.",he'd always ask me if I wanted a bit of wine.I'd always say no,even though the dates seemed to get better and the flavor richer!"
"Come now Gandalf!You have visited the elves before.Surly you have tasted some of thier fine wines before!"said Frodo opening a new tea-cake.
"Aie,but they also had cool,clear,and plentiful water witch I prefur better.Now there is somthing I need to talk to you about."said Galdalf setting his tea cup on his saucer.
Frodo wondered what he had to say,Was it good news,orbad news that could change his life forever.
