Okay, today is Valentine's Day, Sam's most hated holiday. I think she hates this holiday mostly because it reminds her that she doesn't have a boyfriend currently. I am also single currently, who am I kidding, I am always single.

Then I had an idea, if I could make Sam happy great, if not, she would never think it was me. That's me Freddie Benson, hopelessly in love, with the only girl in the world who can and will break my legs.

Today is Sunday, and Valentine's Day is tomorrow, I wanted to do something special for Sam. I liked her, a lot, but I also hate hospitals and broken limbs, so I have to do things covertly. I bribed Larry the Janitor to give me one hour in the school before he locked up, it cost me $100, but this was worth it.

It took a bit of prep work, making all the little cards and tying them to the stems of the dozen lavender roses. I know Sam isn't the fondest of the girly shades of the color spectrum, but again it'll be worth it.

I broke into her locker, leaving the first one taped to the door.

Her homeroom class I left two on her desk.

Second period was Chemistry I left it on her desk in a beaker.

Lunch was a bit harder, we never sat at the same table, but I laid two on the edge of the stage.

Third period was History, this one I taped to the window.

Fourth period was Math, I left this one on the rack underneath the whiteboard. And taped another underneath her chair.

I left one in a vase on Principal Franklin's desk.

And the last two I left in the room Ms. Briggs used for detention.

I smiled to myself as I left the school and walked home in the rain. No one knew what I was doing, even my mom was clueless when I did a few dozen extra chores to get the money. I went to sleep tonight with a massive grin, I hope she liked it.

"What's this chizz?" I hear the scream when I walked into school, I rushed around the corner, thinking I was gonna see Sam, furious stomping the crap outta the rose, but she actually was staring at the card flustered. Carly over her shoulder, looking at it intently as well.

"What does S.H.M.I.L.Y mean?" I shrugged, of course I knew, I wrote it, but I'm not gonna tell her that. But even as I grabbed my books from my locker, mysteriously devoid of anything even slightly romantic, I could see the beginnings of a Sam smile as she sniffed the rose, a slight blush on her cheeks.

"See ya'll later" I directed to them and they shrugged me off, I smiled and chuckled. Carly and Sam were too caught up trying to figure out who this mystery Rose giver was, and what the heck S.H.M.I.L.Y meant.

I didn't see Sam until that night in the iCarly studio, I was fixing a few things on the website so I was up here by myself.

Then the door opened and in whizzed Sam, all 12 of the lavender roses in her hand. She plopped into a beanbag, looking at me, grinning from ear to ear as she stared at the soft petals in front of her.

"You every figure out what that word meant?" I asked without looking up from my screen.

"Yeah Freddifer, Carly looked it up on her pearphone at lunch. See How Much I Love You, that's what it stands for."

"Hmm," I mused aloud while tapping away at my keyboard. " Interesting, you must have a secret admirer Sam." I was trying my best to sound disinterested, but truthfully I wanted to hear her ideas of who it was. While my eyes were glue to the screen she stepped up next to me and kissed my cheek.

"I.L.Y" and with that she smiled and was out of the iCarly studio in a blonde whirlwind.

I had to blush despite the fact that there was no one to see my embarrassment.
