My life was bliss, i had two parents who adored me, i had loads of aunties and uncles and 4 granparents who spoiled me at any moment. I also had Jacob. My sweet protector. Thats what he was to me. But i wanted him to be more. I grew up in a world far different from any other childs. A world filled with vampires and werewolves.
But sometimes i just wanted to be normal. It's not fair. I see other children my age out on weekends, on a sunny day. With their parents. But mine can't do that. We will never be able to do that.
"Nessie?" Jacobs smooth voice interuppted my thoughts.
"Huh?"
"What you thinking about?"
"Stuff" I sighed
"C'mon nessie, you know you can tell me" I loved it when he called me Nessie. My mom hated it, although i don't know why?
"Well, i was thinking about. My life. It's not normal and there are times when i would give anything to change it"
I looked down embaressed.
"Why would you want to be normal?"
"Well, i want to be able to go out on sunny days with mom & dad. I want to grow at a normal rate. I want to have crushes and be a normal teenager."
"So you don't have a crush on anyone?" He questioned. I blushed, whenever i blushed my dad said it reminded him of my mom. Before she turned into a vampire.
"Well i kinda do" I was never gonna tell him i was in love with him.
"Who?" He whispered.
I looked into his eyes. The eyes that were so familliar to me, the eyes that comforted me when i needed it.
"I...I.." Why couldn't these words come out of my mouth, i wanted to shout ; YOU, YOU, I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU!
But instead i just looked down again. Then out of no-where, as if someone else was saying these words,
"I love you jacob"
And i knew i did, i loved him. My protector, who would be with me forever.
