The object of my affections is far harder to get then she thought, considering this particular person would never be interested in some like her. An overexcited, hyper kid. Yes, that was all Miku Hatsune thought of herself as, a kid. The pink haired princess she had fallen in love with years ago would never feel anything for her. Ever. Nevertheless, Miku still loved her, with all her heart, because she couldn't get the burning passion she had for Luka Megurine to disappear.

Both she and Luka had a free period to study in, and Luka was sitting in between Miku and Miku's best friend; Rin. Miku couldn't help but admire Luka's beauty, from her wavy bubblegum hair to her sky blue eyes. She was perfect. Miku was passing notes to Rin by throwing them to her from behind so that Luka wouldn't see. Miku wouldn't want to open a note about their current topic, anyway.

'When should I confess to Luka?' Miku wrote on a ripped out piece of her notebook, 'It is valentines day!'

She rolled her note up, ready to send it flying into Rin's hands.

Luka was considered kind and thoughtful to the schools population, but scary when angry. Luka agreed. She was exactly like that, and she was also know for her crazy obsession with tuna. She knew that the object of her desires would never love her back, no matter how much she wanted the fantasy to be true. Her desire was far too bubbly to like someone like her. She bounced with every step she took, and it brought a smile to her face.

The object she required was, ironically, Miku Hatsune.

Luka had spent hours over the past week, practicing how to confess to Miku in different ways, but they had all seemed so embarrassing. Miku would never be a lesbian, it just would happen. Kaito Shion was all over her, flirting with her constantly so it was quite possible that the tealette was in love with him. Luka wasn't sure why Miku was so attractive, maybe it was her long flowing hair and matching eyes? But one thing was for sure; Miku looked like a goddess.

Miku threw the note, but with her bad aim, it hit Luka. A note that confessed her love had hit the one she did love. Luka looked very surprised when she looked up from her work, but she opened up the note quickly. An expression of shock came across her face, though she felt like grinning like an idiot on the inside. The teal haired girl was tomato red, looking close to tears.

"Happy valentines day, Miku Hatsune." Luka said in her quiet voice, a warm smile covering her features, "Will you be my valentine?"

"Wh-what?" Miku asked, surprised and almost jumping out of her seat.

"I asked," Luka said, "Will you be my valentine, please?"

"Y-Yes!" Miku squeaked, making all eyes in the room turn to her, "Yes I will!"

"Great," Luka said, standing up and picking up her books, "See you after school?"

"Y-Yeah..." Miku muttered, smiling but still with a huge blush on her cheeks.

Rin clapped with a grin on her face.

'Now Miku can help get me and my brother together.' She thought evilly, her grin still in place.

Miku sat back down, hoping that people would stop looking at her. Rin was still staring though, but Miku didn't mind. They both had secrets that shouldn't have existed, passions for people they should, so it didn't matter. Miku looked at the notes she had been taking until Luka had read her note, it was a terribly drawn picture of her love.

A giggle escaped from Miku's lips.

'I hope Luka didn't see that!'

There it is, my valentines day inspired short one shot! :3 I was going to continue this with other pairing, like Len x Rin, Meiko x Kaito and Mikuo x Neru, but what do you guys think? xD
