"James, it's time to wake up."
James rolled over and rubbed his eyes.
"wha iz it" he said in a slurry voice.
"school!" his mother cried, "I get to get rid of you!".
James Potter opened his eyes. School. Yay. I just get to be yelled, no, screamed at by Lily Evans, the girl of his dreams. He was determined that she would be his by the end of the year. He jumped out of bed, showered and got dressed.
" JAMES, ARE YOU UP?" shouted Sirius Orion Black's voice from his bedroom, "IT'S SCHOOL TODAY AND YOU'RE HEAD BOY WITH LIIIIIILLLLLLLYYYYYYY EEEEEEVVVVVVAAAANS!"
James sighed and got out of bed. He jumped in the shower and prepared for his mother's booming voice.
"SIRIUS ORION BLACK NO SHOUTING IN THE HOUSE APART FROME ME TELLING YOU OF WHICH HAPPENS AN AWFUL LOT THESE DAYS DOESN'T IT?!" Mrs Potter boomed as she ran up the millions of steps that were inside the Potter mansion.
"Yes Mum" Sirius sulked.
James snickered. Sirius was on his mum's bad side lately. As he jumped Out of the shower his gaze fell on a photo containing the picture of Lily and him in their 5th year, the day the decided to be just friends. Since then James has tried his hardest to impress her. He dressed and headed down to breakfast.
"Excited to see Liiiily?" Sirius mocked in a sing-song voice.
"Sod off" said James.
He ate his cereal quickly and then headed into his room to get his trunk. He then headed to platform 9 3/4 with his parents and Sirius.
"can you see lily?" asked James.
"nope. She's probably not here yet" replied Sirius.
Just as he said that there was an ear piercingly loud scream.
And that scream undoubtedly belonged to Lily Evans
