Springtime: a time for new beginnings.
In one far corner of the park,
Remained a black-haired woman and her young daughter.
Underneath the blossoming cherry tree,
The petals fell as freely as the tears fell from their faces.
In the woman's hands, she held something so dear to her heart:
A simple defense attorney's badge.
In the younger girl's hands:
A little locket with her elder sister's picture in it.
In front of them was the owner of both the locket and the badge.
He gave no sign of recognition to the weeping women in front of him;
He simply closed his eyes in peaceful slumber.
Next to him,
His adopted daughter (who doesn't seem so adopted anymore) rests also.
Her eyes closed and a small smile pasted on her face,
She looks as pure and innocent as she has always been.
The two lovely ladies are forced to leave as the day comes to a close.
In their caskets, Phoenix Wright and Trucy Wright rest peacefully
As they wait to be laid to rest under the ground.
"Mommy, will we ever see Big Sis and Daddy again?"
"No, sweetie, I don't think so..."
