Edward's poem about Bella when he first sees her after the many months
Edward's poem about Bella when he first sees her after the many months
My beautiful Bella
Stands next to me
I hold her close
Afraid she will disappear
Like every time before
This time
She is no dream
Alive and well
Now I am able to breathe
But something is off.
She is too pale
Pale as me
Too skinny
As though she has not ate in weeks
Under her eyes
Dark purple shadows
Results of sleepless nights
Her once warm brown eyes
Dead with deep distress
All because of me.
Her heart is broken
I can tell in the way it beats
Her lungs are damaged
For she can not breathe
All because of me
She used to laugh
And smile
All because of me
But now she seems lifeless
And full of uncertainty
All because of me
