The Last of us: An Ending
Once in the sky an asteroid flew around the world. This was the start of the dark age of the human race. Where man was overtaken by a fugal virus. Some say it might have been a senatial virus cause by the meteor.
All that was know is that when the asteroid flew across the earth the alive pop was 7 billion. When a second asteroid flew across the earth. The alive pop was one million. Vastly outnumber by the hostile inflected pop of 30 million. But this asteroid hit the earth. And when it hit the earth it like a switch had been turn off in the inflected. Leaving them in their place
Joel and Ellie (Joel daughter who was raised in this world).Was considered by some to be the last "heroes". Or at least the last people fighting for something. The main "government" operation that took over was destroy in an earthquake that some consider to be the wrath of God. This was a month before the second asteroid
Soon after the second asteroid hit. New plants started to grow around the earth. The earth change from green to blue. Ellie got horribly sick for a month. Inflected with a new virus that Joel and all adults were immune to. Soon she started turning blue. Growing long ears and becoming taller. She and others turn into a Na'vi.
The plants created a Tree of Soul for the Ellie and the others. Creating a new religion. Joel and Ellie change from being the "last heroes" into becoming part of didn't mind much. New species of animals were created and pure bred Na'vi came into being from the trees.
Ellie eventually found an Soul companion and had children. Joel stayed near Ellie and even though she needed him less and less. He was still there when she needed a father advice. Life became peaceful.
