Author Notes:

Hey! Originally, this story was supposed to be a fluffy romance, but somehow it ended up like this. I don't know what happened. This is SO not fluffy, maybe I was somewhat depressed? Either way, enjoy!~ ^.^ This story is made up of my assumptions of other fanfictions I've read and I have got a good grasp on some characters, since I am an analytical person. I like to comment on stories in my head, no matter how weird it sounds. I just had to write this.

This will most likely turn into a drabble series. Although most of them will go over the 100 words thingy. It will be categorized as completed since I don't know if I will continue or not.

Disclaimer: I do not in any way, shape, or form own Naruto. A week ago, I had no connection to Naruto at all. And everyone knows Naruto has been running for a while.

In the End

Hatake Kakashi is in denial. Of course, he denies his denial like always. "I'm not in denial. She's only my partner." When the denials stop working he uses excuses like, "She's my student.", "I'm fourteen years her senior.", or "I've known her since she was twelve! It would make me a pedophile!" Valid arguments, but only excuses.

Everyone knows the truth, that he loves the little flower, Haruno Sakura. They know he buries his knowledge of the truth under the layers of denial and excuses in his heart, so they try everything to get him to confess. To let go of his fears. To teach him that admitting that he loves her doesn't mean that soon enough she will leave him like the others. That those three little words aren't a curse, but a blessing.

Of course, likewise, Sakura is the same, but different. She is just simply afraid of him not feeling the same way. The typical fear of a lovestruck woman. A scary one that is.

Everyone is in the plan to get them together. Their friends shove them together every chance they get. When by chance they come to Ramen Ichiraku at the same time, somehow there are only two seats next to each other open when before there was nobody there. Just walking through the streets of Konoha, they magically appear next to each other. Yes, magically.

How do people know so much? Because their stares linger on each other longer than they usually did during missions, just talking or when they see each other. It's obvious. Totally noticeable. And it's torturous for the group watching. They see it so often, and they twitch out of anger, and habit, because in the end, the two turn away with this desperate look in their eyes, that say, "Why?"

But, this is all they can do. In the end, it is the two individuals' choice which brings them happiness, or the endless torture of unrequited love.

Author Note: Honestly I would like it if you review, but you don't have to. I love the people who actually read the stories anyway, since I'm writing because I like writing and not because people review.

So anyone who read the story get all the culinary goodness they want.

See Ya!

P.S. Not including this little message, the whole story and AN equal to 555 words. I thought that was kinda cool.
