It was Christmas Break of Freshman Year. Bex was in London with her parents when she saw a girl walk past. She caught the attention of the spy in training and Bex's eyes followed her as she walked past.

Abe noticed. After all, he's a spy. It's his job to notice things. He shook it off. It was probably nothing.

Fast forward to the summer before Senior Year and Abe had not forgotten about his daughter staring at the girl in London. He had let it go though. It was probably nothing. Bex, however had not. She was still thinking about it but she had come to a pretty solid conclusion.

"Bex, Dinner", her mother called. Bex put down her guitar on her bed and headed downstairs. She could feel it in her bones that today was the day. Her hands were clammy and she was having difficulty breathing.

She sat at the table with her parents and picked up a fork. As she ate her dinner the tension was obvious. After they had finished eating she knew she was about to miss her opportunity.

"Mum. Dad. I need to talk to you both", she said from her place at the table. The tone of her voice made it sound pretty serious so they sat down across from her.

"Go on sweetie. What's the matter".

It would have been obvious that she was scared whether you were a spy or not as Bex took a deep breath.

"Ithinki'mbisexualandidon'tknowwhattodo", she mumbled as fast as she could. Her parents looked confused. "I'm sorry but you're going to have to talk slower".

"I think I'm gay and I don't know what to do", she repeated slowly.

"Firstly, calm down. It's okay. Deep breaths", her mother replied, "Secondly, when are you going to tell her".

"What are you talking about mum. Tell who". Her parents looked rather amused by this, "Cammie of course".

"I'll tell her when I'm telling Liz and Macey. When else would I tell her".

Her parents shared a knowing look before continuing, "She has been your best friend for a long time. Maybe she deserves to be told first".

"Okay, may I please be excused", her father waved his hand towards the stairs in a gesture she understood to mean yes.

As she sat in her room she wondered what her parents had meant about Cammie.

The summer drew to a close and Bex had to go back to school. She had been mentally preparing to tell her friends for weeks and now she was one step closer to the moment when she would have to tell them.

Upon walking through the hall, Bex was greeted with the same welcome she had been getting since 7th grade yet this time it was different.

As her best friend sprinted at her she couldn't help but notice the way her hair swung back and forth. And when she threw herself into Bex's arms her grip was tight. Cammie had always given the best hugs. When they had released the hug Bex noticed the way her eyes sparkled and how her face lit up while she was looking at her friend.

Looking past Cammie she saw Macey and Liz taking in the scene. "We need to talk", Bex whispered to her friend. Cammie looked confused before seeing the wxpression on her friends face. "Okay".

So they headed to an empty faculty room to talk. "Bex. What's happened", Cammie asked concerned. What scared Cameron Morgan was Bex's head hung. She looked almost afraid to speak. And Bex was never afraid to speak.

"Bex", she said softly, "You know you can talk to me about anything, right". Then the strangest thing of all happened. Bex looked up at her friend with tears in her eyes.

"Cammie. I'm gay", she cried. Cammie was shocked. Of all the things Bex could have told her, this was the last thing she expected. "And you've been working yourself up about telling me this", she almost laughed but her friend was upset so she knew not to.

"So you don't hate me", Bex looked up at her.

"Bex, I could never hate you", Cammie kneeled down in front of a vulnerable Rebecca Baxter. "Where u go...I go. When you cry...I cry so please cheer up because I don't feel like crying today". At that Bex laughed. It wasn'ta Bex laugh either. It was an ugly laugh. It was laughter mixed witwith tears, yet the British Bombshell still managed to look beautiful. And so they sat there laughing hysterically Cammie with her head in Bex's lap until their sides hurt and their stomachs rumbled.

Over the next few months Bex noticed everything about her best friend all while Macey and Liz looked on knowingly. No one mentioned it. Cammie didn't even notice which for a spy is very bad.

One day Bex was playing her a song she had written in their suite when Macey walked in. "Why don't you sing it to her".

"Sing it to who", Bex was confused. Macey looked shocked that Bex was unaware of what was happening. "Bex. You're in love with Cammie", after a few seconds Bex started laughing. She had seriously not realised. "If I haven't 'Realised' then how have you Macey".

"Because this isn't a spy thing. It's a girl thing", she looked at Bex, "It's the little things, like when you smile in class when you look at her or when you laugh at her jokes even if they're not funny. Your eyes light up when she answers a question for Mr Solomon. You keep her safe despite her insisting she doesn't need your protection. But most of all, you have written 12 songs about her since we got back from summer. Now go and sing one to her".

Bex was shocked. It made sense now. She hadn't realised she was writing about Cammie until now but Macey was right. She was in love with her best friend. "She's in love with Zach. Has been since Sophomore Year. I can't compete with that".

"Okay. But she's been in love with you since I've been here at least and if Liz is right then even longer than that. You don't have to compete with Zach because you've already won. Now go".

"Which one".

Macey pointed out one and Bex set off to find Cammie. She found her going to the library with Liz. "Cammie", the girl turned to see her best friend only to get dragged to the same faculty room that Bex had dragged her to at the start of the year. "Sit down".

No one Compares to You (Jack Jack)

Thoughts of you and me keep passing by like ships in the night, we never collide

Need you even after all this time you can't be replaced, even if I tried

I'm looking at his face but I'm seeing you he's sleeping on your side, what can I do

We should be heart to heart, my mind is on you, I try, I really do

Everytime I think I found somebody I just wish that somebody was you

There's no way that someone else could ever make me feel the same way that you do

No one compares to you

The song continued and Cammie listened intently, not knowing what was going on. As it ended Cammie stood up. "What's happening".

Bex took a deep breath which to Cammie had almost become a character trait of hers.

"Cammie, I love you and I know you're with Zach and my timing couldn'tbe worse but I was talking to Macey. She made me realise that I have been writing songs about you since we came back to school without even realising it. I understand if you never want to talk t...", she couldn't finish her sentence because Cammie had slapped her across the face leaving a red print.

"You're right. Your timing couldn't be worse. What took you so long", before Bex knew what was happening Cammie's lips were on her's.

Outside the door, Macey, Liz and Zach were high fiving. Mission Complete.
