In the hotel lobby, Kurt is met by a young woman who explains she's his second cousin once removed and sings an original song to describe the relationship.

Sue revives, and an operative explains the situation.

Puck returns to the dorm to find his things in a locker.

Back in Lima, Quinn visits Mercedes, who updates her with flashbacks.

Sam gills Judah Ben-Israel about the tabloid articles. He partly confesses.

Waiting to see his grandfather, Kurt sings Waiting for the Robert E. Lee.

Sugar talks to Mr. Motta about his childhood in Hell's Kitchen, the murder of his father and his early association with a thief. He sings You gotta pick a pocket or Two.

Will labors on his assignment. Will and Puck-separately-sing To all the girls I've loved before.

Rachel and Brody rehearse. He sings You are woman, I am Man. They make out gently.

New Directions (Jake, Marley, Ryder, Kitty, Joe, Blaine and Tina) meet with Holly and the Spanish teacher at the football field. They agree on state and city songs. Someone suggests regional songs. Kitty starts with You're sure to fall in love with Old Cape Cod. They continue with Rocky Mountain High, Shenandoah and Dixie. After a long pause, Jake starts on The Wild, wild West. Then Sam, Mercedes and Quinn join them, singing This land is your Land.

Pulling himself together after watching his grandfather die, Kurt calls Burt.

Santana comes home to find Rachel and Brody making love.

Sue and Mrs. Sylvester talk about the baby.
