I was running, breath caught in my throat. It was dark at night and pretty foggy. The trees were in my way but at least it would help slow them down too. I tripped on one of the tree's roots and fell as I saw other vampires approaching. They didn't see me yet. But they could smell me. They turned my way and I started running again. I don't know where I was running to. All I knew was that I HAD to run.
"Skye!" someone yelled. I knew it was a vampire calling my name. But she was one of the good ones. "Jes, I have to GO. I'm being chased!"
"Yeah, I got that from the way you were running," she said. "let's go to my house, it's safe there. She carried me and brought me to her house. Strange how she had to carry me but that was the fastest way, since she's a vampire and can run faster than me. "I have to tell you something, Jes," I said. She wasn't listening. "Jes," I said again. Okay, now I'm annoyed. "JES!"
"what?!" she yelled.
"I've become a wraith."
"wait, as in a ghost? No, really? It can't be."
" I got turned just as I was about to die from a vampire bite. Tristan saved me by turning me into a wraith. I couldn't out run the vampires just then because I'm still not sure what I can do, all the abilities I have."
"No way, Tristan turned you?!"
"out of everything I just said, you took in that part?"
"well...yeah."
"anyway, we should be safe now. I got the necklace. I'll destroy it now so the vampires won't hunt us anymore." by the way, I needed to destroy the necklace because if I don't, the vampires will come looking for it and open the power inside it, using it to make them powerful. We must stop them because power + evil = bad news. So I'm destroying it. Just when I was going to reach for the necklace, the door banged open and many angry vamps came in. Jes and I started attacking as many as possible. I took my blade out and sliced it in an arc, sending a vampire's head flying off. Jes got the necklace and threw it on the ground, making it shatter to tiny pieces. "We did it," I said.
"Yeah, we did. We saved the world!
Now we just had to clean this mess up.
