A small box faded into view. When it finished, it was clear it was a TARDIS. Above the door a sign read 'In Use.' On the side, a sign read 'Suicide Booth, 25 c.'
Inside, the man looked at his sentinel console, jabbing at controls and numerous digital controls. He stopped and turned on the 3D Projector. "Ah. Afghanistan. Oh no."
"What?" asked a companion.
"Oh, nothing, Jamal."
"Tell me." said another.
"No, Annett." said the man.
"Please?" asked the last.
"Thomasina..." said the man. "But you can see the damaged remains of Wakhan Corridor... Damaged?!"
There was a sudden bang, an explosion.
"Lieutenant?" asked Jamal.
"No, no, not the place for us to stay and with no regenerations left..."
The TARDIS materialised.
