Remus and I are infuriated with the plot, we think, if Rose had stayed on a boat, Jack would have been able to have the raft and they both would've lived. So, here's a story about it.
But sadly, we don't own Titanic so we can't change reality.
What have I done? What have I done, he was my only love, and now he is going to die, and it is my fault! Is what was going through Rose's head. On a boat, in the middle of the night, watching the Titanic sink. They waited. And waited. And waited. "We have to go back." Rose said.
"No one will be there, I assure you. We're too late." A woman in a black fur coat sat primly, golden curls not so perfect anymore.
There was another boat drifting along the water, calling out, seeing if anyone was still alive. Rose saw a man clambering off a wooden door, it looked like, and swimming to the boat. The prim, fur coat woman had been wrong, and there were probably more survivors floating, or balancing on whatever they could find. The moonlight reflected on the water, and Rose wondered if Jack was still out there.
Rose's boat followed the other one, which meant gliding over where the Titanic had sunk. There were bodies everywhere, covered in frost. Rose's eyes widened as they strayed to a woman holding a baby, its expression of pain, both preserved in frost, and, like almost all the others, victims of hypothermia, carried away by death.
Rose's boat was too late, they saved none. But they did catch up with the first boat, and evened out the two, putting two of the saved passengers in Rose's boat. They were both bundled in blankets, and already sleeping. The first was a black haired man, wrapped in a green blanket, Rose guessed he was second class.
The second man had a head of silky golden hair, and was definitely third class. It was her Jack! She threw herself down next to him and hoped her body heat would help keep him warm. If she died, now it would be alright, for she had her love back, and as long as she was with him, the world was a beautiful place.
