"Are we lost?"
"We ARE lost! "
An exasperated Rio looked at the bus timetable. They had only been in Helsinki for 24 hours and already they had lost their way!
"Rio, can we walk back to the hotel?"
Severina looked hopefully at Rio, but what she was looking for wasn't in Rio's face. Panic filled her. "Then, what are we going to do?"
Rio, wearing a pink t-shirt embossed with a skull, blue jeans and black pumps looked at her niece.
"Were somewhere in the suburbs, don't worry."
Severina, in black jeans, purple and black striped t-shirt and black pumps, surveyed the area.
There was nothing. Not a single house for a few miles or so, only a vast wood with trees and a river flowing beside it, not even a road or a path.
"Ok. We ARE lost."
Rio looked around and began to smile. "Look, there's a house, over there.''
Severina looked around in puzzlement until she saw a house, just in sight but covered by a cluster of trees and moss, it looked old and shabby and unlived in.
Severina and Rio approached it uneasily.
It was an old wooden house, with peeling white paint, blue frayed curtains at the windows and a rusted door, not inviting or comfortable.
Rio knocked on the door. She didn't expect an answer.
But then a strange noise came from inside, like scraping, groaning and howling, and a voice: "GO away." It sounded like a demon.
Rio and Severina backed away, and then screamed.
In the doorway stood what looked like a half human –monster hybrid, dressed in gray armour, horns protruded from its head, its face was torn up, eyes blood red, a pair of black wings beat steadily behind it, creating a breeze.
It was hurt, a gash was visible in its side and a steady trickle of blood dripped on the floor.
"Get away from me."
"Who are you? What are you?" Severina asked, amazed.
"I am… Lordi."
It then crashed to the floor, causing Rio and Severina to run towards it, catching it before its head hit the floor.
