He thought he could spend the rest of his life just looking at her. She was radiant. She was strong. She was independent. She was absolutely beautiful. And now, she was all his.
Well, technically she was his. She was his in the sense that they had made a childish pact. Just about every night after work, Tony would follow Ziva to her house. Nothing ever happened, they knew the rules, but things had gotten close.
The night they almost broke the rules was the night that they made the pact. Like usual, Tony had driven to Ziva's apartment after work and they were both drinking. They both had more than enough alcohol, and by the time Tony realized what was going on...they were both in Ziva's room, their clothes forgotten on the floor.
If Tony hadn't sobered up then things would have happened. Maybe Tony regretted how they had handled the situation now, but there was a part of him that didn't regret anything. It was because he sobered up that they had their deal.
After the little "incident," as Tony and Ziva called it, they had talked for a little bit about what happened. Tony brought up the idea of being together without being together. To his surprise, Ziva agreed. So, they made their pact. They would be involved in an open relationship. So, technically they were not breaking the rules.
Technically, they were still just friends and technically nothing had happened between them. But now, about a month after their agreement, Tony couldn't stop staring at her. He really could spend the rest of his life just looking at her. She would never fully be his because of the rules, so he really just had to settle with looking at Ziva.
Tony DiNozzo couldn't stop his stares and he would just dream about their nights after work. And now that they had their deal, Tony really had lost interest in other girls. All he wanted was Ziva, and he would fight for her until the day he died. He could stare at her for the rest of his life but he wanted more. And that's exactly what he would do. He would fight for Ziva David to be his until the day he died.
