A/N: I had wondered why no one seems to slash Ben up with any one, is it because he is what he is? I like him. I could see him with The Human Torch or even the Silver Surfer. LOL, no real pairings here though.
Also, I know I haven't update any of my other stories! For shame! Yet, this would not go away! I have just seen the new movie, which is sad since I am a Marvel Fan...Oh yeah, I plan on writing a Johnny/Ben story so just watch out.

They were no longer normal...least of all him.
He had been happy, living life as a regular ol' Joe.
Then the "accident" changed everything as they knew it.
He was cursed to live the life as a monster, a stone man.
What did the others have now? Super powers! Sure he had inhuman strength,
but that was the thing. It was inhuman, made him see what he lacked even more so.
Sue was still a beauty; her "gift" brought her no shame. Reed was still handsome,
still intelligent. Now he was stretchy and limber, probably a major plus in the bed room.
And Johnny...Johnny was still Johnny. Gorgeous and bold.
Too bad Ben would never have the chance to tell him that. The boy probably would wet himself if he knew he was permanently etched in the older man's mind.
Yes,Ben wasn't human on the outside. He really didn't have a name for whatever he was.
He hated who he had become, he hated himself for not being stronger where it
really counted...his soul.
Did he even have a soul now that he had become just a thing?
Just an envious, self loathing, crazy for his team mate thing.
