Two Faced Lovers

PROLOGUE:

Heartbeats skipping, hands holding tight. Ahhhh… Love is in the air.

Yes, love. Love may be a thief in the night or it may hit us like Cupid's arrow. When you're in love, you feel like you don't want this moment to last. Love may be in a form of being a friend, best friend or lover. It feels good to know that you are in love.

BUT…

Picture yourself that you are trapped between two lovers. One loves you, one loves you more. You can't choose between them because you love them both. You are like in a spinning world full of confusions. You are so confused that you have the urge to scream at the top of your lungs, crying. Looking at them, they have the curiosity to who will be chosen. They are shaken on the inside if either they are chosen by you. They are willing to love you more if you choose either one of them. All that's left is to choose who will be with you.

Sacrificing yourself for this kind of love, this love triangle, is very complicated. You have to leap from one lover to another. It's like serving two masters at the same time. It's okay if you can't choose but are you willing to give them their needs? In this kind of love wherein you are asked to decide who will it be, there is no escaping. You can't be like: "LOOK! THERE'S A PIGEON!" No. They have no time to look at that pigeon because they are focused on YOU.

In my experience in this love triangle, it's hard to accept the fact that both my lovers were my childhood friends. I love them both ever since we were kids, innocent and full of life, calling them my friends or playmates but as we grow up, we feel awkward to talk each other because of the never ending growing love. Blushing, acting like normal when you are fangirling on the inside, you name it. Teenagers feel that way. Having crushes on both girls/guys is so confusing. Why? You either stalk one or stare at the other or vice versa or whatever you want to do. You can't take your eyes off them; you can't help it at all.

When you get into the lovers stage on both of your crushes at the past, you will now feel my pain; the pain I felt for all those times.

Going back to picturing yourself in the situation, once you chose someone, what will happen to the other? Either be left out, lonely or just trying to move on as time goes by.

See? Choosing in this kind of love is quite difficult and depressing. You are afraid to lose this other lover of yours. You are trapped like a bird in its bird cage, no freedom, no happiness, no life.

All that's left to do is to decide… Between one lover and the other...

Now, I shall begin my story…
