Real Life

Chloe had always wondered what it would be like if suddenly Clark had realized his feelings for Chloe, you know, if there were feelings. She had wondered this since, well, since she met him. The upset blonde sat on her dock and laughed at her little girl fantasies. It always played in her head. Clark would look Chloe straight in the eyes and with a slight smile in his eyes, whisper, "Chloe, I think I'm falling in love with you". Actually that's what did happen, but silly Chloe never thought about what she wanted to happen after that. No, Chloe didn't imagine this. She didn't imagine it because it was real life. And in real life, Chloe didn't just brush off the secret, and tell Clark she'd stand by him 100%. She was angry, and she said some things she shouldn't have.

Chloe shook off her memories from her brain and into the lake underneath the dock. The heart-broken teen wished real life didn't suck so much. Reality started to sink in again.

"You know Chloe, I must've been an idiot because I had the slightest hope that you just might understand." "Well if you were counting on a make-out session right after telling me you're an alien, maybe you should tell Lana!" "That isn't fair. I told you Lana and I have never done anything and never will! Chloe, I'd never hurt you intentionally." "Too late!"

Chloe's trip down a very screwed memory lane was interrupted by a boy, a boy she cared about.

"Hey"
