Disclaimer: I do not own the Avengers, it's characters, themes, or ideas. I do enjoy writing about them though.

Authors note: This is a one shot/flash fiction of the moment when Hawkeye is on the roof being Captain America's "eyes" and he is overrun by the aliens. He jumps off the roof to avoid certain death and this is my theory of what might have been going through his head. Read, enjoy, and review.

The feeling of falling had always appealed to him. Sky diving and cliff jumping, though, didn't compare to the adrenalin rush of falling from a skyscraper during an alien invasion. The thrill could not be matched. The view of the buildings and sky from this angle were amazing. Enjoying his moment of pure adrenalin, Clint Barton stretched his bow in front of him, toward the building, with a grappler arrow loaded. Realizing the moment couldn't last forever, he released the arrow, which stopped his decent as soon as it connected. He used the line attached to the grappler to swing in through the window of the building and into an office full of cubicle's. For now he'd have to settle for the adrenalin he had obtained during the fall. Oh, and the adrenalin he picked up from the hundreds of aliens invading. Yeah, pure adrenalin.
