It is very early in the morning. Danny is still upset of what happened. He sits down on the floor, wondering what Toothless is up to. He then starts remembering the heartbreaking moment of what happened, he then starts crying. After Danny puts himself together, he has an idea of trying to see if he could find his best buddy again, no matter what the cost. He starts packing some supplies, then leaves his house towards the wilderness. In the deep areas of the woods, Danny looks up into the sky, noticing that it's getting dark, so he sets up his sleeping bag. Trying to fall asleep, he hears a faint noise, almost sounding like something is soaring above him. Danny goes back to sleep, when he feels heavy breathing upon his face. Danny slowly opens his eyes, only to notice sharp rows of teeth only he can recognize. "Toothless? Is that you buddy?" Toothless doesn't respond, only to slowly open his jaws to bite Danny's head off. Danny immediately reacts by jumping out of his sleeping bag. "Toothless, what are you doing? Don't you recognize me buddy?" Toothless starts snarling while slowly walking up to Danny. Danny backs up against a tree, knowing that this is the last time he'll see his best friend. Toothless is close to Danny's body, he starts to slowly sniff him, like he's getting a scent. Toothless stands on his hind legs, wings spread out, and jaws wide open, Danny closes his eyes, knowing that he'll be slaughtered in a matter of seconds. Toothless puts his mouth against Danny's face, snarling, then he sniffs Danny again, longer than last time. Danny is scared out of his mind, when all hope is lost for him, he feels a gentle slobbery tongue pressed against his face. "What is going on here?' Toothless stands on all fours, then wags his tail. "Are you kidding me? You were acting to be all vicious and deadly when I got here! You almost gave me a heart attack! But don't worry, I'm glad to see you too!" Toothless comes up to Danny, then purrs against him. "Yeah, I missed you too buddy!" Danny and Toothless are happy to see each other once again. "Hey, Toothless, next month is Christmas, do you want to know what that is, boy?" Toothless nods yes, then Danny and Toothless walk towards home.
