Author's Note: Hey there! Here's a story I've been writing for another site. I thought I'd post it here. The characters were submitted by members of the Pandora Gaming Network. As always, I love to hear about the hits and misses. :)
Pandora City. The Quiet Paradise. Ironically enough, it was not truly a city. It had few residents, yet it had modern conveniences. Some would say they really loved living there. But, this place, like any other, was not without its secrets.
On the outskirts of Pandora City lied a dark and enormous mansion. The structure was like a fortress, having several turret-like towers, the tallest, of which, was strangely in the dead center of it. It was a cold, poorly-lit room with a high ceiling. On this particular night, two silhouetted figures were standing in the center, discussing serious business.
"Bring me all you can find of those Pokemon," a German-accented voice demanded.
"Of course," answered the other, slyly. From the sound of his voice, he was probably a bit younger than the other, though not by much. "Now let's talk money."
The first man chuckled, firmly placing his hands on the other's shoulders. "Timothy, you shall be part of something far greater than vhat most could have ever imagined. You should be proud."
"Thank you. But about my pay?"
The older man's demeanor suddenly got sterner. "You'll receive it after you've carried out your task," he replied harshly. "Now go forth and execute our plan."
"Gladly," affirmed Timothy.
And with that, he exited the room, leaving the mastermind behind the plan alone. The man sat at his desk and looked over his schematics.
"At last, my perfect plan vill be put into motion," he declared in a sinister tone. "There vill be a new vorld, one that shall be superior to this one. And I, Heinz E. von Sangnum, a scientific genius, shall be its creator!"
Dr. von Sangnum sat back in the chair and began laughing maniacally. His cackling reverberated through the entire complex and floated to the tall ceilings. Indeed, he dared to play God. He dared to open Pandora's Box.
