Cold No More
Disclaimer: I'm writing this based on the assumption that Snart won't make his glorious return in the season final of LoT. And of course, I own nothing but what you see here. Also, FUCK Henry dying.
The battle had been a hard one, but ultimately a victorious one as Vandal Savage had finally been brought down for good. Ensuring that future generations would never know his evil touch upon them. Though there was no telling what sort of effect this would have on the future considering he would no longer be around but since time itself wasn't folding in on itself, Rip had the belief that things would be okay. Mick had felt it was a good idea to head out to STAR Labs to rest up and inform them of what all had happened. Ray had even agreed and called Cisco as they started to head that way and made sure to impress upon the engineer that he needed to get Lisa there as quick as possible. Something that was made possible courtesy of Barry Allen himself much to the slight disgruntlement of Lisa even if she had some warning before hand thanks to Cisco. The STAR Labs crew, one that included Wally now didn't have long to wait before the Legends showed up.
Lisa had even surprised everyone aside from Mick when she hugged the man, actually happy to see him for the first time in months. Everyone noticed though that one person seemed to be missing from the bunch and it could be considered hard to miss the man considering just who he was. And it'd be Lisa who would ask the question on their minds as well. "Mick… Where's my brother?"
She watched as he traded looks with the others, something he would have never done in the past as he would have just come out and said it. Her honorary brother then put his hands on her upper shoulders and looked her deep in the eyes that held a sadness to them. Which was another thing that was unusual when it came to Mick Rory. "Lis…" Began the man but she pulled away with a shake of the head.
Not wanting to hear what she thought he was going to say. Cisco came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her as he had already figured it out. The blonde woman in the white outfit came up to Lisa with a saddened look on her face. "I'm sorry Lisa, we all are. Your brother was… He was a good man. If if wasn't for him we might all be dead now..."
Sara and the others watched as Lisa Snart broke down into tears while crying out denials of what she had been told. She fell down to the ground but Cisco kept his arms around her, never wanting to let go so that she would have some sort of comfort in all this. Mick knelt down and placed a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it to provide his own comfort for whatever it was worth. Barry and the others had lowered their heads in respect for Leonard Snart even if Wally and Jesse didn't even know who he was as the sobs of Lisa Snart continued onwards.
