Tali David

Sat on the sofa nervously rubbing her palms together when her daughter came in from the kitchen

Sarah David

"Mom, what's wrong?"

Tali David

"Errm well see its kinda...."

Sarah David

Rolled her eyes, "Spit it out mom"

Tali David

Nodded, "I'm your mother" she said hastily

Sarah David

Smiled and moved to sit beside her mother, "I know Mom, No matter what you'll always be my mother, you were the one to love me and raise me"

Tali David

Sighed, "For real my princess, I'm your mother, Your my daughter, I gave birth to you my baby girl"

Sarah David

Stares in utter shock and disbelief at her mother

Tali David

"I am sorry I did not tell you sooner, I know I should have done but I just didn't know how to"

Sarah David

"But Ziva? Ziva's my birth mother" she stuttered

Tali David

"No she's not" she said shaking her head, "Your mine, Your my princess"

Sarah David

Stood up and moved away, clearly unsure and scared

Tali David

"Please baby girl, Please come here, I love you" she pleaded

Sarah David

"I … I …. I can't do this... please … I just can't", she sobbed, playing with her star of David

Tali David

Sobbed as her child left the house

[Hours Later]

Sarah David

Sat sobbing in a hotel room, her head in her hands

Tali David

Knocked the door

Sarah David

Opened the door and sighed, "Come in" she whispered moving into the bathroom and cleansing the salty tears from her face

Tali David

Sat on the bed, and fiddled with a locket in her hands, it was heart shaped and golden with an inscription saying 'To my darling daughter with all my heart'

Sarah David

Sat on the bed towards the top, away from her mother, and scratched at her hands nervously, "Why are you here?"

Tali David

"Because I love you" she said and put her hand out offering the locket to her child, "I had this made before you was born, as soon as I found out you was going to be a girl, I loved you from the moment I discovered I was pregnant, and I always will"

Sarah David

"Sure you did and that's why you ditched me" she said giving back the locket

Tali David

Bit her lip, tears streaming down her face

Sarah David

Moved forwards and embraced her mother, she wanted to comfort her, whatever had happened she still loved her mother and nothing could change that
