Kirux's Story: Part I

Hello. My name is Kirux. I am Organization XIII's 14th member. After Roxas left, Organization XIII started recruiting new members. Unfortunatly, I was one of the recruits. At first, I didn't know that I was a Nobody. Some empty shells just turn into a Dusk, but my other was special.

Anyways, I will tell you everything that has happened from when I was a child, to when I was replaced by my other. It started on what I thought was going to be an ordinary Monday…

"Ringgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg…" My eyes opened to hear the sound of my alarm clock. I knew it was Monday, and that I had to go to school, but I had the strangest feeling that today was going to be a day that I would regret for the rest of my life.

"Ringgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg…" I had enough. That alarm was going to be the death of me. I grabbed my alarm clock in a bloodthirsty frenzy.

"GO BACK TO HELL YOU STUPID ALARM CLOCK!!!" I screamed as I chucked my alarm clock against my wall. Then, for that one second, I wondered what my mother would say about this. Would she yell at me, punish me, put me on probation. Alas, it was to much to ask for. Nobodies don't have families. We are destined to be lonely. Whether you are a Dusk, or one of the XIV, it doesn't matter. You are born lonely, and you will die lonely.

I cleaned up the broken shards of my alarm clock, packed 10 munny to buy myself food, and despite my better judgment, and walked out the front door.

On the way to school I met up with my friends, Renlea and Ionez. They both prefer to be called by there nicknames, Ren and Ion. Ren is a tall, 16 year old girl with short, blonde hair. Ion is a taller, 17 year old boy with thick, blue hair with silver highlights. I am a tall, 13 year old boy with long, brown hair.

"Hia Kia!" Ren greeted me. Yes, she called me 'Kai', girls are weird sometimes.

"What's up?" Ion said.

"I am walking to school today." I announced.

"Odd," Ren said. "Usually you arrive at school around lunch time.

"Yah, well today I had a little visit from the alarm clock from hell." I said.

"Another broken alarm clock, may it rest in peace." Ren said in a solemn tone, looking down in respect.

"Well, we should probably get to class." Ion said.

"Yah, wanna race?" I taunted.

"Winner buys the group Sea Salt Ice cream after school!" Ren added.

"3…"

"2…"

"1…"

"GO!"

We shouted in unison in unison.
