Her heart felt like it was broken her chest her with a pain so great that she wanted nothing more than to sit in a small ball and die…die. She had seen so much and felt so much that death would be great. She frowned, standing up she walked over to the Tree that five hundred years in the past Inuyasha was pinned to. The Tree she freed him from.
She could still see the images freshly in her mind they burned into the core of her heart making her chest hurt more…gasping her hand when to her beating heart…beating. A fresh wave of tears fell down and she sobbed; her small frame shaking. Why did this happen why was she the bad guy she wasn't suppose to be she was innocent yet she was the one that was left in pain. She looked up at the rope that hung from the Tree swinging gently in the wind. As rain began to fall soaking her hair she thought about…her love, her betrayer, her heart.
She had gone back to the past to tell her friends that she was going to stay in with them with him…forever. That is until she say him…Inuyasha with 'her'. The sight of them moaning in pleasure withering naked flesh to naked flesh broke her. Kagome had told him she loved him told him she would stay by him and he promised to keep her safe to never hurt her. He lied. He hurt her beyond anything he broke her heart and her trust.
She'd ran after hearing Inuyasha crying out 'her' name in his orgasm, she ran and never looked back until she was here in her own time. Now she stood in front of the Tree that she had first seen him the same Tree that she knew she was in love with him. Now she stood under the Tree with a broken heart.
She sighed and climb up the ladder, putting the thick necklace of rope around her neck, she thought. Inuyasha will never have his necklace taken off it will stay with him and he would be reminded every waking day of his life who he betrayed. He would feel her pain, he would cry, and he would be the one left alone.
Kagome opened her palm and looked down at the Sacred Jewel it was still glowing purple and pink blinking up at her with misery of faint black. She looked once more into the sky before closing her eyes and making the wish that her love always wanted, that Inuyasha would be happy with 'her'.
"I wish for Inuyasha to become full Demon…but still have his memories…"
With that said she stepped off the ladder and the cord went slack. Her death would bring him pain, and the pain would last him…Forever. He wanted to become a full Demon and now he would feel her pain…and live with it.
That was how her family found her when they came home Kagome hung herself on the Tree that she first met Inuyasha. The Tree that pinned him once now pinned her soul and heart. Kagome was truly free…she hurt no more.
Authors Note: Sorry I know it was sad and please don't be mad for Kagome dying and Inuyasha being caught doing naughty with…gasp…Sango. I was feeling down so I wrote a one shot hope you like.
